SATURDAY:
Jacobs (15-5, 6-1) won 3-2 over Johnsburg in an FVC contest in Algonquin with Cassidy Sherman posting a hat-trick, and sister Catie Sherman chipping in an assist on the day.
St. Charles North (10-3) won its third consecutive team title at the Tournament of Champions in Burlington, IA, with wins over Madison Memorial (3-0), Visitation Academy of St. Louis (3-1), and Granite City (1-0). For the two-day tournament, Sammy Gage had 2 goals and 3 assists, Lauren Koehl netted 3 goals, Carleigh Dusek had 2 goals and an assist, and Kelly Manski and Alex Gage had an assist each in the three-game sweep at the 24-team tournament. Sammy Gage scored the lone goal in the title game against Granite City on an assist from Dusek. Lockport (11-4) went 1-1 on Saturday at the Tournament of Champions in Burlington, IA. The Porters won 3-0 over Peoria Christian on goals from Lexi Cozzi, Cassie Pullia, and Ally Brehm before losing 3-2 to Glenbrook North, getting goals from Cozzi and Gina Collesano in the loss.
Barrington (9-5-1) won 3-0 over Carl Sandburg in its final Naperville Invitational contest, getting a pair of goals from Molly Pfeiffer and one from Emily Hyde in a game played at Naperville North. Mia Calamari, Sarah Fox, and Dana Nelsen had assists in the win, while Fillies' keeper Kelly Pedersen made one save in the team's 8th shutout.
Naperville Central (10-5-3) closed out its play in this year's Naperville Invitational with a 1-1 tie against New Trier, as Sabrina Cisneros sent a 25-yard crossing shot to the upper ninety.

Prospect (8-7-2) went 2-1 in a weekend tournament in Moline, losing to Pekin in a shootout on Friday before winning two games on Saturday against Highland Park and Moline United to win the consolation bracket. Coach Tom Froats: "In the match on Friday we squandered several quality scoring chances including two that bounced off of the frame and ended up being on the short end of the match in penalty kicks. On Saturday goals by Jesse Petrovski and Lizzy Robinson on assists from Elena Cukurs and Sara Helwink propelled us past Highland Park 2-0 in the morning match and in the afternoon match Rachel Suarez put the Knights in front and Taylor Smith's goal with 30 seconds left in regulation was the game-winner for the Knights in a 2-1 victory over Moline United. Agnes Stankiewicz assisted on both goals. The Knights recorded two more shutouts to run their season total to 8 behind strong defending from Kelly McBride, Adrianne Falagario, Kelly Ziegenfuss, and Caroline Aubry who headed one off the goal line in the United match in front of goalkeeper Megan McCabe."
Carmel (8-4-2, 5-2) moved its unbeaten streak to 6 games with a 5-1 win over Nazareth in an East Suburban Catholic Conference game in Mundelein. Lauren Bowles struck twice and had an assist in the win, Meegan Johnston had a goal and an assist, and the Corsairs got goals from Shannon Jung and Kelly Trillhaase. Sarah McHugh and Brianne Carlson added assists as Katie Larson made 8 saves in securing the win.
Plainfield North (11-2-2) won 7-0 over visiting South Elgin as Callie O'Donnell posted a hat-trick in the win. Ashley Auble had a goal and two assists, Ashley Handwork had a goal and an assist, and the Tigers also got goals from Katie Cox and Sofie Quezeda, plus assists from Bri Buckley, Kaela Leskovar, and Madison Hansen.
Crystal Lake South (12-7-2, 7-2) won 7-0 in a Fox Valley Conference game against Crystal Lake Central (1-11, 0-9). Kali Loescher had two goals and two assists on the day, Christina Szocka scored twice and had an assist, and Karli Schumaker had a goal and two assists. Alex Romano and Cella Albuquerque also tallied in the win while Ellen Brunner, Faith Brunner, Ashley Tyllia, and Emily Schoenfeldt added assists. Gators keeper Elizabeth Quinn posted her 10th shutout of the season.
FRIDAY:
Conant (12-2) won 2-0 over Rockford-Boylan in its final Naperville Invitational contest, in a game played at Wheaton North.
Courtney Raetzman scored in the first half after picking up a loose ball and hammering it off the crossbar to give the Cougars a first half lead. In the second half, Drew Wentzel ripped a free kick off of the bottom of the crossbar and in to extend the lead. The Cougars' back line along with goalkeeper Lindsay Fillingim did an outstanding job in earning the team's 9th shutout.
Glenbard East (7-6-3) won 2-0 over Shepard on goals from Jessie Grumstrup and Lindsey Paganucci as Veronica Fairbairn recorded her 5th shutout of the season.
THURSDAY:
Jacobs (14-5, 5-1) won 2-1 over McHenry in an FVC contest on a goal and an asisst from Erin Flores, a goal from Lauren Grady, and an assist from Kelly Grady in Algonquin.
Downers Grove South (13-2-1) won 3-0 over Andrew in Naperville Invitational play.
Megan Martin had a goal and an assist for the Mustangs and Sarrah Ludwig added two assists as South posted its 12th shutout of the season.
St. Francis (10-4-2, 4-0) won 7-0 over St. Edward in a Suburban Christian Conference contest, getting a goal and two assists from Andrea Ravlin, two goals from Andie Matichak, and a goal and assist each from Sydney Fox and Taylor Ravlin. Katie Ramsey and Sarah Rahman also scored in the contest, with Kaity Bucaro, Hallie Woods, and Meg Wagner chipping in assists in the win.
WEDNESDAY:
Lincoln-Way West (4-7-1) won 3-0 over Addison Trail, getting goals from Kara Winans, Morgan Contreras, and Katie Brncich. Kara Winans, Shelby Rossborough, and Kylie Hermanson recorded assists, while Mia Biangamano and Kayla Lojas split halves in goal for the Warriors' third shutout of the season.
Crystal Lake South (11-7-2, 6-2) won 5-0 over Woodstock North (4-8-1, 2-5) in a Fox Valley Conference game in Crystal Lake. Kali Loescher had a hat-trick while Audrey Collard and Cella Albuquerque added a goal each. Assists on the day came from Christina Szocka, Ellen Brunner, Emily Hamrick, and Karli Schumaker as keeper Elizabeth Quinn picked up her 9th shutout of the season.
Hinsdale South (7-6) lost 2-1 to York in Darien with Meagan McPherson scoring for the Hornets. Coach Pat Wolf: "York took an early lead and commanded most of the first half. We came out with renewed energy in the second half and Meagan McPherson tied the game on a 25-yard upper ninety free kick. York's goalie stopped another quality McPherson free kick before York retook the lead on a goal-box scramble that found the back of the net."
TUESDAY:
Waubonsie Valley (6-4, 2-1) won 7-0 over East Aurora in an Upstate Eight Conference contest. Mackenzie Fuller had two goals and three assists in the win and the Warriors also got goals from Kristen Brots, Jenna Romano, Megan Green, Mary Wright, and Kendall Wilde. Green, Brots, Kristen Dodson, and Taylor Hughes also had assists at East Aurora.
Hinsdale South (7-5, 3-0) stayed unbeaten in West Suburban Gold play with a 2-0 win over Willowbrook. Jessica Koziol had a goal and an assist in the win, Jaime Walker netted a goal, and Maggie Nicosia also chipped in an assist as keeper Vanessa Niestrom recorded the team's fourth shutout of the season.
Wheaton Academy (6-3, 4-0) won 4-0 over Montini in a Suburban Christian Conference game in Lombard, getting three goals from Crystal Thomas and one from Ally Witt. Witt, Deborah Smith, and Molly Cook had assists in the Warriors' third shutout of the season.
MONDAY:
Naperville North (8-3-1) won 1-0 over Metea Valley (10-6-1) on a Zoe Swift goal scored with just 2:24 left in regulation at Metea Valley.
Barrington (8-3-1, 4-1-1) won 3-1 over Buffalo Grove in an MSL contest, getting a goal and an assist from Emily Hyde, goals from Catie Curran and Elli Ackermann, and a pair of assists from Molly Pfeiffer.
Conant (11-1, 7-0) won 10-0 over Wheeling in MSL action in Hoffman Estates. Kaitlin Chiero netted 3 goals, Courtney Raetzman and Sammi van de Linde scored 2 apiece, and Christina Rosales, Courtney O’Keefe, and Alyssa Rawleigh had a goal each. Keeper Lindsay Fillingim got her 8th shutout of the year.
Elk Grove (6-5-2, 2-2-2) won 2-0 over Rolling Meadows in an MSL contest in Elk Grove. Melissa Solorio got the shutout and Carin Fearing scored twice for the Grenadiers, on assists from Rachel Pruim and Kelli Hubly.
